The Bigger and Bolder New #GladeoLeague

When we launched the Gladeo League program in 2015, we had three goals in mind:

1. To invest in the growth of talented college students and provide them with the necessary experience, guidance, and network to pursue their dream careers.
2. To allow our interns to use their talents to spread our mission and values.
3. To create a network of exemplary students in an effort to promote the sharing of ideas and experience for the future generations.

Gladeo is proud to announce a brand new semester for our internship program! This semester will be the biggest and boldest semester yet- and we are excited to announce some changes in our program:

the new gladeo league

This internship semester boasts the biggest group yet - we have 24 talented college students and grads in our internship team! We are excited to welcome many fresh faces in the League, as well as welcoming back some League veterans this semester.

In addition to our traditional Creator and Reporter teams, we are welcoming two new groups to our program: the Marketing Team and the Production Team!

The Production Team will be creating video content about working professionals in a wide variety of careers and contributing to our “Virtual Career Day”, an online portal where guidance counselors and students learn about the vast array of careers from our ever-growing library of content. Meanwhile, the Marketing Team will plan online promotion projects on our social media platforms.

Classic projects such as the #GladeoGraphix series and the #CareerHighlights series will be returning, while exciting new projects will be thrown in the mix! Stay tuned!

Michelle is the Co-Founder of Gladeo. Since 2005, Michelle has been a mentor and volunteered her time conducting college planning seminars for schools and community-based non-profits. While she was volunteering, she saw a huge gap between school and career especially for students who lived in low income neighborhoods or who were the first in their family to go to college. She started Gladeo in 2016 to bridge that gap and since then, Gladeo's online resources and workshops have helped thousands of students, teachers and counselors learn about the diverse array of careers and industries through their videos, interactive website, infographics and social media.

Michelle Cho is an award-winning film producer who co-produced the film "Au Revoir Taipei" which won the NetPac Award at the Berlin Film Festival. Since then she has also worked in film development and financing for LUKA Productions. She was also Director of Operations for a LA-based commercial real estate company. Michelle graduated from Stanford University in 2001 with a degree in Economics.

Michelle serves as the leader and mentor for the Gladeo League's Reporter and Production Teams.

Joseph is the Internship Program Director and Creative Director for Gladeo. He became involved with the organization during his first semester in college, forming the foundation of the internship program with co-founder Michelle Cho.

In high school, he co-founded Herban Movement, a student-operated start-up founded at his hometown of Hercules, California. As the former Chief Executive Officer of Herban Movement, his leadership earned the student start-up the Microsoft Social Innovation Award in 2015 and was named as 'One of the Coolest Youth Start-Ups in America' by the Huffington Post. In 2015, he met with President Barack Obama and his staff at the White House to celebrate National Entrepreneurship Month and discuss the role of youth entrepreneurship in society.

Joseph documents his experiences through literature and photography on his own blog site, Joseph's World. Joseph is currently an undergrad at Cogswell College, majoring in Business Administration.

Joseph serves as the leader for the Gladeo League's Creator and Marketing Teams.

Furthermore, we are honored to have talented professionals on our team as the Gladeo League's new Industry Advisors. Our Industry Advisors will act as mentors for our young talents, providing them with training, wisdom, and guidance with their projects.
