Theodor Seuss Geisel  has influenced lives through his literature for generations. Though his work focused on children's literature, his simple yet catchy phrases are beloved by people of all generations because of the meaning and lessons behind his stories. From the Fox in Socks to the timeless Cat in the Hat, all of the publications by Dr. Seuss are nothing less than iconic.

His work has been honored by the multiple productions such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas starring Jim Carrey, The Lorax with Zac Efron, and the highly successful Broadway musical, Seussical

In honor of National Poetry Month, the Gladeo League acknowledges a writer who has taught valuable lessons through entire generations. Dr. Seuss' legacy will live forever, as his readers continue making a gourmet meal of green eggs and ham.
