Gladeo is proud to announce that we have won the Coaches Award and a Greater Good Society Fellowship at the 2017 Social Innovation Fast Pitch hosted by Social Venture Partners LA!
The event focuses on connecting non-profits in the Greater Los Angeles Area to the resources and connections they need to achieve their goal. Through a two-month communications training program, different leaders of innovative nonprofits were mentored by distinguished coaches in order to unleash their full potential. After the two months, the leaders utilized everything they learned to the test and were put head-to-head in an intense “Fast Pitch” competition with only a three-minute time limit.
Through her noteworthy progress and accomplishments during the training program, Social Venture Partners awarded Gladeo Co-Founder and Executive Director Michelle Cho the Coaches Award. In addition, Michelle was chosen to receive a spot in the Greater Good Society Fellowship’s one-year executive leadership program.
"The Social Innovation Fast Pitch program put on by Social Ventures Partners LA was amazing!”, says Michelle Cho, Co-Founder and Executive Director, “I was so grateful that Gladeo was chosen to be one of twenty non-profits to go through this three-month rigorous program. I was paired up with two great coaches, Robin Keefe and Susan Smalley, who helped me craft Gladeo's story and be able to pitch it in three minutes. Making it to the finals and being able to tell 550 people about Gladeo was such a blessing. I met amazing people from non-profits that are doing extraordinary things in Los Angeles. Thanks to SVP, the coaches and the other presenters! I will never forget this experience."
